About me!

It's funny how life changes.

I actually came here to fix a spelling mistake on my website, only to realise that much of what I'd written no longer reflected who I had become. What started as a quick edit turned into a complete website redesign.

Looking back at my old bio, I read about our life in New Plymouth, owning a flooring store, raising our daughter, and my dream of taking my work in mindset and personal growth online. I smiled because, although so much has changed, the heart of my vision never has. I've always wanted to help people.

Not by giving them all the answers, but by helping them discover their own.

Choosing a Different Life

Our flooring business grew beyond anything we imagined, and for that I'll always be grateful. But with that success came pressure.

My husband and I realised that while our business was thriving, our wellbeing wasn't. Prior to this point, I would have considered it a crazy decision, given all the work we had put in over the past few years, but

We sold our business.
We sold our home.
And we moved back to the beautiful Coromandel, where we had both grown up.

Why?

Because life is too short to spend it chasing more while sacrificing the things that matter most.

Health.
Family.
Love.
Peace and moments.

Living with MS has taught me one thing above all else:

Nothing is guaranteed.

My Turning Point

Multiple Sclerosis has been one of the greatest challenges of my life. It has also been one of my greatest teachers.

During one particularly severe relapse, I lost the use of much of my right side, struggled to speak, swallow and walk, and experienced symptoms I wouldn't wish upon anyone. But something unexpected happened.

For three months, my internal dialogue disappeared completely.

The constant voice inside my head simply... stopped.

Yet I still functioned.

I could hold conversations.
I could make decisions.
I could live.

When my thinking eventually returned, I couldn't stop asking questions.

If I could function without constant thinking...
Who was I underneath all those thoughts?

That experience became the beginning of my journey.

What I Discovered

I became fascinated by the relationship between our thoughts, awareness and the way we experience life.

I studied, experienced, questioned and remained deeply curious.

Over time, I realised something that changed everything for me.

We are not our thoughts.

The more energy we give every thought that passes through our minds, the more disconnected we become from ourselves.

When we learn to observe our thoughts rather than become consumed by them, something shifts.

We create space.

We begin to trust ourselves again.

We stop living on autopilot.

That doesn't mean life becomes perfect.

It means we respond differently.

Why I Do What I Do

Today, I work as a Mindset Mentor because I genuinely believe

everyone can create a healthier relationship with their mind.

My goal isn't to create dependence on me.

In fact, it's the opposite.

I want to help you build lifelong tools that allow you to navigate whatever life places in front of you.

Whether that's overthinking, anxiety, uncertainty, self-doubt, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.

My role is to guide you back to your own inner wisdom.

Today

These days, life looks very different.

I continue to live with MS, but I also continue to live well.

I spend my time creating courses, sharing conversations through my podcast, mentoring others and helping people discover that peace isn't something we find somewhere else.

It's something we create from within.

If you've found your way here, I hope you know one thing.

You don't need to become someone else.

You simply need to reconnect with who you've always been beneath the noise.

I'm grateful you're here, and I look forward to walking alongside you on your own journey.
